Countryside Stewardship Boundary Grants- Call For Applications

Further to our news article in February we are receiving a modest number of instructions for the previously popular Hedgerows and Boundaries Capital Grant Scheme, this year with an increased limit of £10,000.  The scheme offers grants for drystone wall restoration, hedgerow gapping up, hedgerow laying and hedgerow coppicing to field parcel boundaries.  All farmers claiming Basic Payment Scheme on their land are eligible with one of the only exclusions being those with a current live Boundary Grant that has not yet been claimed for.  Applications are not permitted on specific boundaries entered in to another scheme, or for new hedges.
