Hedgerows and Boundaries Grant Opens

The popular Hedgerows and Boundaries Capital Grant Scheme has now opened for applications again this with a Upper Capital Claim Limit of £10,000 for these stand alone agreements.  The scheme offers fixed rate grants for drystone wall restoration, hedgerow gapping up, hedgerow laying and hedgerow coppicing to field parcel boundaries.  The scheme is Eligible to all farmers claiming Basic Payment Scheme on their land with one of the only exclusions being those with a current live Boundary Grant that has not yet been claimed for.  Applications are not permitted on specific boundaries entered in to another scheme, or for new hedges.  The scheme is open until 3rd May 2019.
