From the centre of Lofthouse by the school, proceed
out of the village towards Middlesmoor (do NOT
take the turning to Masham). Then turn right where
signposted "Scar House Reservoir". Proceed up the
reservoir road for precisely 3 miles, then bear right
where sign posted to Middle Woodale Farm and the
lodge. Proceed over the cattle grid, down the track,
over the bridge, past the farmstead on the right and
the entrance gate to Middle Woodale will then be seen
on the left hand side. Please ensure any gates that are
opened on approaching the property are also then
closed.
