Hedgerows and Boundaries Capital Grants – 2019 Application Round – Agreement Offer Delays

Where a Hedgerows and Boundaries Capital Grant application was submitted this spring, guidance stated “Agreement offers will be made from July 2019 and agreements will start on the first day of one of the following months.” It seems that there is a delay in these offers being sent out by the RPA as DEFRA clearance is required. There is currently no indication of when this clearance will be issued. Our professional bodies continue to chase DEFRA and the RPA for these agreement offers and we will advise clients affected by this as soon as we hear anything further.
