Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme

Back to news

Further to our previous posts re the Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) have advised of their intentions to re-open calls for applications “later this autumn”.

The Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme is aimed at active farmers making small scale investments in both arable and livestock equipment capable of increasing productivity.  In the previous scheme grants of 40% were available on a standard cost basis for items such as; calving detectors, mobile and fixed handling equipment, EID readers, plate meters, more advanced GPS equipment, yield mapping, seed drills, grain stirrers and robotic equipment (this list is not exhaustive).  Grants of 40% were available between £3,000 and £12,000 making the minimum spend required £7,500.

It is expected that this will be open to all farmers registered with the RPA (excluding some Agricultural Contractors) and those that applied to the previous application round.

We remain committed to a fixed application fee of £150 + VAT* for applications this autumn.  To register your interest for further information once the scheme re-opens do not hesitate to contact Andrew, Catherine or Will on 01423 860322.

*The fixed fee relates to the application process only and is subject to our formal Terms of Engagement.
