Countryside Stewardship Annual Claim Deadline Extension

DEFRA has confirmed that the original deadline of the 15th May 2018 for the submission of CSS annual claims has been moved to the 15th June. This move comes as many applicants are still to receive their offer letters for CSS Mid-Tier schemes which had a theoretical start date of the 1st January 2018. Please note that this extension does not apply to Environmental Stewardship (ELS & HLS) Schemes or to the Basic Payment Scheme, the deadline for which remains the 15th May.
