Exchange Rate Set for 2017 BPS
Back to newsThe Rural Payments Agency has confirmed that the euro exchange rate has been set for Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) 2017 payments made in sterling. The rate is an average of the European Central Bank exchange rates set in September 2017. The rate is €1 = 0.89470.
This is an increase of just over 4% on last year. The previous year’s exchange rates were:
BPS 2016: €1 = £0.85228
BPS 2015: €1 = £0.73129
BPS 2017 payments are expected from December.
