Land flies off the shelf in Harrogate

Lister Haigh marketed 21.54 acres of grassland at Warsill, near Harrogate at the end of January with a Guide Price of £185,000.

Given the large amount of interest in the property ‘Best & Final Offers’ were requested by the 23rd February and a total of 9 offers were received for the property and a sale agreed substantially in excess of the Guide Price.

This sale provides further evidence of how land in an area with a number of active buyers can achieve substantial interest and that through setting a ‘Best & Final Offers’ date at the correct time it is possible to achieve quick sales to willing and able buyers at premium prices.
