English Woodland Creation Offer

The latest Government incentive to create more woodland comes under the English Woodland Creation Offer which plans to support the creation of over 10,000 hectares of new broadleaved woodland.

The minimum size woodland for this scheme is 1 hectare (2.47 acres) in 0.1 hectare (0.24 acre) blocks. The scheme is aiming to create or extend existing priority woodlands, benefit water habitats by increasing shade, reducing pollutants and reducing flood risk as well as creating areas with public access.
